Floating Expander Pellets are just the job for enticing carp to feed off the surface. These floating pellets are made to the highest standards and their oily, flaky surface are great for attracting carp.

A great tip when using these, is to make a groove the whole length of two pellets, just a bit wider than the shank of your hook. Then using a bit of super glue, glue one by the eye and one by the bend of your hook and this will help to disguise your hook from those weary carp. Another great edge, is to add a bit of salmon or hemp oil to them, giving them a greater attraction, creating a slick on top of the water, that the fish can home in on, creating more chances

Benefits of Using Floating Pellets

  • Visibility: Floating pellets stay on the surface, making it easy for fish to spot and for anglers to monitor bait activity.
  • Attract Surface Feeders: Many species of fish, such as carp, trout, and certain types of bass, feed on the water's surface. Floating pellets are perfect for targeting these species.
  • Versatility: Suitable for various fishing environments, from still waters to flowing rivers, floating pellets can be used in different fishing scenarios.
  • Easy to Use: Simply cast the pellets onto the water and let them float, reducing the need for complex rigging.

Choosing the Right Floating Pellets

When selecting floating pellets, consider the following factors:

  • Size and Shape: Different fish species may prefer different pellet sizes and shapes. Match your pellets to the target fish's preferences.
  • Nutritional Content: High-quality pellets provide essential nutrients, attracting fish and promoting their health.
  • Flavor and Scent: Pellets with added flavours and scents can be more enticing to fish, increasing your chances of a successful catch.

How to Use Floating Pellets Effectively

  • Cast Strategically: Aim for areas where fish are known to surface feed, such as near overhanging trees, weed beds, or lily pads.
  • Create a Feeding Frenzy: Use a handful of pellets to create a feeding area, drawing in fish and increasing competition.
  • Combine with Other Baits: Enhance your baiting strategy by combining floating pellets with other baits, such as boilies or ground bait.
