Tips and Tricks for Using Crushed Hemp in Your Fishing

Blend into groundbait
If you’re into feeder fishing or method feeder work, crushed hemp is ideal. Mix it into your groundbait for extra texture and scent. Carp, bream and tench love it, and the fine bits wash out quickly and help draw fish in.

Boost your spod mixes
Doing a bit of spod fishing? Crushed hemp is spot on. Mix it with sweetcorn, pellets, or other particles to make a proper tasty mix. The natural oils in fishing hemp spread out through the water, pulling fish in even from a distance.

Add liquids for extra attraction
Want a stronger mix? Add a bit of liquid attractant or a light bait oil. This works especially well in winter when fish rely more on scent. It gives your hemp for fishing mix that extra kick.

Perfect for feeder fishing
If you’re feeder fishing, crushed hemp is one of the best things you can add. It breaks down fast and creates a cloudy, oily trail that brings fish straight to your feeder. Carp and bream pick up on the scent really quickly.
