These 17mm halibut pellets are basically big, chunky feed pellets for carp and catfish. Nothing fancy. Just a good, solid feed that gives them plenty of energy. If you’ve used bigger pellets for fish or heavier fish pellets before, these are pretty much the same idea, just a nice big size.

They’re made with fishmeal and some marine oils, so they’re easy for fish to eat and they break down slowly in the water. Not too fast, not too slow. Just steady. Fish seem to stay on them well because they give off a gentle smell in the water, not a big cloud or anything like that.

The 17mm size is handy when you’ve got bigger fish to feed or when you just want a bigger pellet so everything’s not getting snapped up by the smaller ones. You can use them most of the year. In warmer months, fish usually get through them quicker anyway.

They mix fine with whatever else you’ve already got — like carp fish pellets, trout pellets, Coppens pellets, or other fish food pellets. Anything like that. They just blend in with the rest of your food pellets for fish without any trouble.

You can get them in different bag sizes — 1kg to 25kg — so you don’t have to buy loads if you don’t need to.
